Brief Profile Dr S Radha

Dr. S. Radha is presently working as a Sr Regional Director/Additional Director at
Regional Centre Bangalore, Indira Gandhi National Open University and Research Supervisor in
Management - Bharathiar University & School of Vocational Education & Training, Indira Gandhi
National Open University and certified Innovation Ambassador (IA) -Ministry of Education’s
Innovation Cell and AICTE.

The six PhDs & one MPhil awarded under guideship. With a passion to develop the
research skills, she has published two text books, contributed chapters in 9 books, published more
than 50 research papers in national & international journals and presented more than 40 papers in
National and International seminars and conferences.

She is a highly qualified educationalist, academically well-experienced, dynamic leader,
Passionate Researcher, Philanthropist, and Mentor & Smart Innovator. She has done B.Com,
M.B.A.,M.Com, B.Ed, M.Phil, PGDIRPM, Ph.D., and is recipient of the prestigious Research
Fellowship of Industrial Financial Corporation of India.

She has more than 30 years of experience as an administrator, academician and Researcher
in the field of education and training. She also develops innovative learning methods in the field
of education.

She is a member of some prestigious professional organizations, such as, the All India
Management Association, Bangalore Management Association, Indian Accounting Association,
New Delhi., National Institute of Personnel Management, Kolkata & Indian Statistical Institute,
Kolkata, Institute of Managers & Leaders,( IML), Australia etc.

She has extended the valuable services as a Board Member of Studies & Board of
Examiners of Bangalore University, Bangalore City University, Bangalore North University and
Panel of Doctoral Committee of Bangalore University, Annamalai University, Pondicherry
University, Vikram Simhapuri University, Vinayaka Mission University etc., and served as a
resource person for UGC, AIR, Door darshan TV etc.

She has received various national & international awards namely National Award
Accredited Management Teacher (AMT) in HRM Award from AIMA, New Delhi, Innovation
Professor Award received from Commonwealth Society for Innovation and Research, Scholastic
Achievement Awards thrice from National Institute for Personnel Management, Best Teacher
Award, from Lions Club etc., She has been invited as a Life Member of Academic Affair Council
of Common Wealth Society for Innovation and Research (CWSIR).

She is a dynamic administrator in managing efficiently the successful running of
Programmes. She is a good decision maker in selecting & providing suitable training and refresher
courses to teaching and non-teaching staff. She has taken care of organizing events inside the
campus with outstanding care. She has successfully organized more than 400 management events
& social awareness events at the status of Director. The systems adopted by her were excellent and uplifted the institution to good standards.
